Nadine Gourkow Discusses the Advantages of Shopping Online

Introduction

There are only so many hours in a day and making time for shopping during the holidays can take a toll on that time. With Black Friday a mere 4 days away, it is time to take a look at a better way to shop. Nadine Gourkow decided she is going to try a new way of shopping this season – online. She is going to share with you the advantages of shopping online, so you don’t have to wake up early and hit the stores with the rest of the crowd.

Advantages

Let us set the mood for you. It is Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in the US, and everyone is waking up early and heading to the malls. There is pushing, shoving, and screaming over the latest deals. Do you really want to be in the middle of all of that? Wouldn’t you rather wake up the day after Thanksgiving and sit around the house in your pajamas, sipping coffee or hot cocoa, and relax while completing all your shopping for Christmas? Here are some other great reasons to stay at home this Black Friday.

  1. Better Prices – In addition to the convenience we discussed above, the prices are just as much a reason to stay at home and shop with your computer, tablet, or smartphone. The reason that the prices are so cheap online in comparison to the stores is that you can get the products directly from the manufacturer and you do not have to pay extra markup costs. Essentially, you are eliminating the middleman.
  2. More Variety – When you go to a store, they have a limited amount of shelf space, so they can only carry so many items. Then there are stores in the virtual world. They do not have a problem with shelving, so they can offer all the products to you. Additionally, they have some items that cannot be sold in your area for one reason or another but can sell them to you from there location where the product is available.
  3. Easy to Wrap – That’s right, you can purchase your item and have it gift wrapped. This free up even more time this holiday season. When you go to the store, you have to fight the crowds all day and then come home and wrap the item. Of course, you can get the store to gift wrap the items for you, but they charge a lot to do it. Whereas the online stores generally do this service free of charge.

Conclusion

Nadine Gourkow hopes that she has provided you with enough reasons to consider sitting on the couch, or better yet in bed, this Friday and spending more time with the family. Nothing worse than Mom and/or Dad having to go shopping all day after a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. Should you not be fortunate enough to have kids that are old enough to stay home alone, you may have to hire a sitter are worse yet, take them with you.
